1. How do I use travelthere.com?
travelthere.com is ready to help you book your travel within Australia! Search for acccommodation, flights, vehicle rental, tours, travel insurance and packages right from the homepage. You will need to login with your username and password to make secure purchases, from the left-hand side of the homepage. This enables us to automatically enter your details into each booking, while accummulating points toward future purchases! If you have not yet registered with travelthere.com, click here to get started.
Simply select the service you require from the Quick Search
menu and complete the criteria to view the selections best suited to your needs. After selecting your chosen supplier and reading the product description, continue through to the booking form to finalise your details and agree to our terms and conditions of purchase.
Your credit card which will be charged in full at the time of
clicking "pay now" and an email confirmation sent to you immediately
to present on your trip. You can reprint the details of your bookings
at any time with your username and password. The supplier is also notified
immediately of your booking online in real-time and by email.
2. Who has access to my private information?
All personal information you provide to
travelthere.com over the internet while
acquiring a travel product or service is passed through a secure, encrypted
connection. The connection is over a protocol called secure socket layer (SSL).
travelthere.com uses the strongest
form of SSL encryption (128-bit), which provides a very high level of protection
against unauthorised access.
Once your personal information and any payment details have been received
by travelthere.com's computer systems
via the website, we take every reasonable precautions to securely pass and store
that information in our database system for your future retrieval. For more

3. Is it safe to use my credit card on the Internet?
When you make a payment on the travelthere.com
using your credit card, your credit card number is passed in a secure manner between
the travelthere.com website directly to
Westpac Bank using its secure online payment service. Payment on the Intenet is
hence, more secure than common methods of credit card payment, such as physical
records left in a shop or when purchasing via the telephone.
travelthere.com will store your credit
card number in a secure database for audit trail, security and verification purposes.
The database server on which your credit card details are stored is not directly
connected to the Internet and is not accessible by general staff.
To ensure the maximum protection, make sure your browser is updated to a cipher strength of 128-bit. To check your browser's cipher strength, click "help" on your toolbar (while connected to the Internet) and then "about Internet Explorer". If you are using Netscape, click "Edit" in the toolbar, then "Preferences". Expand the "Privacy & Security" menu on the left and then select "SSL". Click on the "Edit Ciphers" button on the right. Check that you have options for encryption with a 128-bit key and that they are checked.

4. Can I book with your Customer Service staff on the telephone?
Yes. Our customer service staff are here to assist you in any way possible from 7AM-8PM weekdays, and 8AM-7PM weekends. Feel free to contact us for guidance through the website, to take your booking when
you don't have access to a computer, or just for our expert advice!
5. What if I am having computer problems with your site?
There are a few common problems reported with any site, ranging from slow response to pages not loading correctly. See our technical tips to see if yours is one of them.
6. Some of the information I am looking for about a product is not on the site. What should I do?
We have tried to provide as much information as possible about each product, but there are always going to be people with specific needs. Contact Customer Service on 1300 88 5678 from 7AM-8PM weekdays, and 8AM-7PM weekends and we will be happy to find you the answers you need! If it is not the answer for which you had hoped, we will be happy to suggest an alternative.
Please note, however, that if a requirement is essential to your purchase decision you should call us PRIOR to making your booking to avoid the chance of penalties being incurred for cancellation or amendment. Special requests cannot always be honoured by the supplier and you should never assume your request will be met. travelthere.com can only guarantee the information which is listed on the site, so contact us if you are not sure.
7. Can I pay by any other means than credit card online?
No. Rates and availability are subject to change at any time and we cannot process your booking without full payment upfront. As such, any delay in getting payment to us would most likely mean that the product has sold-out or that the price has changed and we would be unable to complete your request. Our bookings are guaranteed and processed instantly to ensure an efficient and timely reservation service.
